At Orchid, we strive to provide high-quality services to our families. However, frequent cancellations and late drop-offs jeopardize our ability to retain staff as they count on hours financially. Also, as a company we provide free of charge learning supplies, high-tech teaching tools, reinforcers, and research-based curriculum which all are included in our overhead. Frequent loss of billable income lead to us being able to afford these expenses. The following policies are designed to ensure that we continue to provide quality staff, materials, and reinforcers for your children.
Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice: We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. We will charge you (not insurance) $25 per hour of service cancelled.
Late arrivals : We cannont bill until the client is present. If parents are more than 8 minutes late, we will charge a $15 late fee to you (not insurance) for every 15 minutes late because we have to pay staff but cannot be reimbursed by insurance if your child isn't present.
Frequent cancellations with or without notice: If there are 4 or more cancellations a month, we might have to give your spot to a parent on the waitlist.
Extended vacations: Please give us at least 30 days notice for all vacations. If you are taking a vacation exceeding 1-2 weeks, we cannot guarantee your spot when you return.
