At Orchid, we strive to maintain a clean environment using regular sanitation of toys and work spaces. Here are some key polices that reduce the spread illnesses:
Emotional Well-being:
We believe that our families are best served when employees are healthy and happy! In fact, we measure success based on how many employees are smiling on their way to and from work! We support staff in taking regular breaks and vacations. We also encourage employees to take the full extent of maternity leave. In many cases we allow for varying work schedules based on the needs of employees and their families. We appreciate your patience when staff members are out for these times!
Many of our clients have experienced improved sleeping habits, reductions in self-injurious behavior, and improvement in focus since seeing Dr. Wada. Not only does she specialize in working with children who have autism, but she's the mother of a child with autsm. She is uniquely positioned to help families with children who are on the spectrum.
Inclusion Children with disabilities can be more successful when they gain access to environments with typically developing peers. Find out more about the history of inclusion, current polices, resources for teachers and parents, and what you can do to advocate for our children. Click here.
